On the Redesign
The faults are all mine; the credit is all Sean's Peter's. Do you like it? The overhead banner has been changed, obviously, and I've widened the main-text field a bit. And yes, I'll plan to rotate the banner image periodically if I stick with this templatethough to what, I'm not promising. Let me know your thoughts.

Apologies for having to add the Word Verification function, but the spam has become insufferable lately. Maybe I have Finally Arrived? Suddenly, I am on the radar of all the classiest Russian Viagra magnates and Indian flower shops. But sorry to interrupt. What were you about to say?
(For the reason I've just described, I moderate all comments made more than two weeks after a post, so don't be mystified if you hit "Publish" and it doesn't appear.)
rotating is what we do. rotating is what we live for.
ReplyDeleteor maybe that's just us geminis.
but i love new visual stimulus ~ so i say yay.
I approve!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think I should widen my main text field, too. And not just because I'm a peer pressured joiner girl.
I like it except the stretchiness of the banner image. (Or has Sean just been eating all the pies?) Don't think I'll widen my own text field until I have more things of substance to say in it! But it really suits your Flicked Picks, as I shall carry on calling them.
ReplyDeleteI will take your cue and change my ID photo soon though, I think.
I too noted the stretchiness but figured you were probably going to take care of it at some point. Yes?
ReplyDeleteI guess it fits well but Sean??? Why oh why?!
ReplyDeletePoor Sean – only I see his loveliness, even in his stretchiness. He'll just have to go back to being my desktop photo.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, the banners will now be rotated in slightly sluggish synchronicity with the Favorites countdown.
I like the wider text field. I view pages full-screen, and really narrow text fields look funny.
ReplyDelete"without the skin" sounds pretty ominous, no?
ReplyDelete@Dr. S: Sadly, I lack the gift some of my blogmates have for aphorism. Is this better?
ReplyDeleteThe idea is that the caption will change with the banner photo, unless I get frustrated and just go back to what I had.
Si, this is better. I was just thinking, gosh, a flayed blog. What will we do?
ReplyDeleteI like this image very much.
I like the new caption even more! No one strips or dies, indeed!
ReplyDeleteWell, I mean, sometimes I strip. But no one sees it.
