TGIF with My New Personal Hero

This has not been the easiest week, but thank goodness it's going out on a high note. Times 100. A friend sent me the link to this video, and now, even though it has nothing to do with the customary provenances of this blog, I am heading into the weekend with a smile. Cheers, everybody! I agree. And I'd further contend that 008 picks up the promising thread of 005, and that my love is secured definitively at 013.

I would be remiss if I didn't profess love for 021 and 026, too. As well as the ones where he's obviously gone home for Winter Break and is in his parents' garage. I would also be remiss if I didn't admit that I've now watched this thing three times all the way through. And that it makes me miss grad school.

You know, the only thing I really actually miss about grad school is the dancing (including the people involved in the dancing).

i miss the dancing peeps too & the fact that my living room was like a mini-version of soul train.

i know!!! this vid is now giving me the sads b/c as my/our bday's are coming up in april, i'm like we totally need to have a dance party....dare i try to get my peeps here to shake what there mamas gave 'em? ;)

I cannot get enough of this guy. 026 is the moment where it really takes off, for me. I also love 056 'cause of the hat and the Christmas lights, the dog at 061, how long 064 lasts and that hideous/inspired cat t-shirt he wears on two separate occasions. Also, have it be known I totally lost my shit at 098, because they're my absolute number one favourite band ever.

059 simply because it's one of THE songs of my life.
